Animal finally sees Kill Bill
After weeks of not seeing a movie, hard to believe if you know me, I finally got out last night with the movie geeks and saw Kill Bill.
And boy, what a movie. I'm sure I could ramble on for hours over this movie. Let me try and hit the really high points. It is getting late and I need to get to bed, so...
Uma was really attractive
Quentin Tarantino is clearly back in "The Zone"
Music was very well selected and really added impact to many scenes
Lucy Lu was awesome
That was Darryl Hanna? Still can't believe it!
$75 Bucks! Oh man that's just wrong!
Some of the blocking on the final fight scene between the Bride and Cottonmouth was amazing
Can't wait to see Volume 2
Uma was really attractive
So there you have it. And I would certainly like to cast my vote that it just may be a better film than Pulp Fiction, but I'm gonna have to see it at least one more time to make a final decision.
Well, good morning everyone. It has been almost three weeks since I posted anything to my blog. Bad Animal!
Life has been a little crazy. Getting ready for winter has a whole new meaning when you live on 6 acres and have a very big house! Holy Crap!!
In recent weeks gone by we've completed the following tasks:
- Replaced all door locks with all new Schlage door handles and brand new deadbolts.
- Washed all windows, inside and out, including the 25 foot high wall of windows.
- Cleaned out the Salt Tank (a.k.a. Brine Tank) on our water softener system.
- Still trying to figure out where to stack all of the wood from our very first cord of wood.
- Hung new curtains and toppers in the master bedroom.
And still to do:
- Hung new clothes hanger on back of guest bedroom and upstairs bathroom doors.
- Install replacement fluorescent lamp in the laundry room (old one fell down - but not installed by me ;-).
- Finish stacking the wood in the garage so we can park the cars inside once again.
- Give the John Deere fall tune up.
- Run a brand new waterline to the new fridge for water.
- Install a patch panel box for satellite cables and splitter.
- Run coax cable through attic and into both bedrooms for TV - one per bedroom.
- Run Cat 3 wiring through attic and into both bedrooms for phones - two per bedroom. One for data, other for voice.
- Install ceiling fans into both bedrooms.
- Uninstall vertical window air conditioner from master bedroom.
- Rake, Mulch, or Blow leaves that are almost a foot deep in the back yard.
- Cut down old / rotten trees for next years wood pile.
- Buy a snow blower to clear the driveway.
- Pull out remaining junk (big furniture) from forest edge.
- Haul last load to the dump.
- Burn remaining brush / wood debris.
So, there you have it readers. Some of the reasons I have been a little overwhelmed and unable to post to my blog.
There is hope!
However, there is hope. I'm going to attempt a blog update at the beginning of my day, or the end of my day. See, I also had to rebuild my computer at home over the past week, and I'm still not finished installing all of the software. So, with any luck, I'll be posting again on a regular basis.
Did ya know that my Zonk Board is gonna go bye bye any day now? Yes it's sad but true. Zonk Board has suspended free tag boards. We should see it go down tomorrow or sometime this weekend I would imagine. Oh well, have to find something new instead I know there are lots out there.
