And now the time has come...
Greetings Readers of the WAR RANT,
I can't believe it has been one week since my last posting. Wow, time really does fly when your having fun. As some may be aware, there are big changes happening in my life right now. My wife and I are moving into a large rural home this Saturday and things have just been insane. So, hence the lack of updates.
To make matters worse, last night I started taking down and packing up the electronic equipment. And now the time has come, to face the final curtain. I am going to be losing my beloved high speed cable modem. Where we are moving, there is no high speed cable. In fact, not even high speed DSL. OMG!!!! What the hello am I gonna do? My office is the only real connection I'm gonna have for a few days.
I've been looking into DirecPC which uses Bell Express Vue's satellite dish, but alas, I'd also have to get an ISP on top of it. Bringing my monthly internet bill to $83.12 CDN per month. Holy Flaming Goat Dung Heap!!! What's a techno rat doing in the country?
So, if anyone has any other suggestions or experience, I'd love to hear from you.
And hey, for all those WAR RANT fans, I have at least two more parts just waiting to be written. Please Stand By...

WAR RANT - Part Two
All I can say is WOW!! I can't believe people are out in the world reading this! And some of you want more? WOW!! So, here is my next rant. As always, please leave any comments on the tag board.

Strong Opinion and Content Ahead
So, did you see the god damn (not dam I've been told) news today? I have so many things to vent about I already feel there is gonna be a third posting on this topic!! RAGE RAGE against the dumb asses!!!!
Item #1 - Captian Dumb Ass Canada
So, back to the news. Considering us Canadians aren’t in this “War of the Willing” you wouldn’t know it for all of the god damn news coverage. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I like to be up to date as much as the next news junkie. But isn’t that what the internet is for? To get your fix? Obviously most of the networks, and newspapers for that matter, seem to think our gutless, spin-less, ball-less, talks only out of one sides of his mouth at a time leader, picked the wrong F*ckin side of the fence on this issue.
His position pisses me off so god damn much all I can say is F*ckin dumb ass! He took his position based on public opinion poles? WTF!!!!! Pleazzzzzzeee. Many Canadians have their heads buried in the sand. Many Canadians see all these stupid F*ckin kids / students protesting and think back to their youthful days in the ‘60s against the Vietnam war. WTF? Get with it will ya, your F*ckin glory days are gone!! Look at the real issues. Come live in the real world with the rest of us will ya?
Sure, we’d all like to live in a world where war didn’t exist and peace and diplomacy solved everything. But pleazzzzeee, wake the F*ck up will ya!! We don’t live in that world.
Anyway getting back to Captian Dumb Ass Canada, he didn’t need the official support of the UN when NATO went after Slobodan Milosevic to liberate the people of Yugoslavia! Most people didn’t care that the UN Security Council voted it down. Shit, most people didn’t even know that. I didn’t even know that until recently.
Item #2 – The Sock actually has something to say
And speaking of dumb asses, today I was flipping the channels after getting back into the hotel room and stumbled upon MuchMusic. For my American readers, that’s our MTV in Canada. Anyway, they were having a Talk session about the War. So, unlike me, I stopped to listen to the stupid youth of today to see if they had anything possibly remotely intelligent to say. And guess what, OF COURSE THEY DIDN’T!!! F*ck!!!!
But patience took hold of me and I waited for the other side of the audience to speak. Oh look, they invited University students and whadda ya know, young Canadians with an intelligent, well thought out arguments in support of the war. And you know what? They had facts. Details. And were able to articulate something other than, ‘Cause.!!!! So I kept watching.
It was interesting. One side kept saying how bad war is and that only diplomacy should be used. Blah Blah Blah, stupid ass comments, Blah Blah Blah. Oh and look, they even threw in some real peace activists just to stir the F*ckin pot!! And they had no facts. Just rhetoric. Not alternative solutions, just their opinion on war. WHATEVER!! Loyal followers of Captain Dumb Ass Canada clearly!!!
And then it happened.
The Sock came on, you know, Ed the Sock. He’s this stupid ass puppet that I have always found as stupid and asinine as anything on television can be. Sure, sometimes he’s funny. But mostly just a dumb ass pissing off, or pissing on, someone on MuchMusic. But………
They let Ed the Sock speak his mind in a separate segment that wasn’t interrupted. Almost like an editorial on a news show. And you know what? I just about fell of the god damn bed in my hotel room. REALLY. I couldn’t believe my F*ckin ears. Ed the Sock actually had a strong, fact based, opinion that really meant something. He wasn’t being a dumb ass. He didn’t think the war was right either. He didn’t think the US was all that, but he also didn’t think they were that far out of line.
Now, I can’t believe I am saying this, but I agreed with most of his points. In fact, some of his points even made me stop and think about my positions and opinions. And remember, I thought that god dam sock puppet was a stupid waste of F*ckin air.
So in closing, if you’re inclined, you gotta check out Ed the Sock’s web site, or at the very least, his intelligent editorial comments.

Time to Rant over the WAR!!!
So, my sister Arie has asked for an update. Well, ok, here is an update. I just had to vent about the WAR. So here I go....

Strong Opinion and Content Ahead
What the hell is up with all of these peace activists? I like to call them Peace Mongers. I've also heard of them referred to as PeaceNiks. I like Peace Mongers.
Issue #1. - For all of those people out there who think George Bush is .... (insert negative comment here) will you please do me a favour. SHUT THE HELL UP!!!! I respect free speech as much as the next person, but really, if you've got something to say, for CHRIST sakes, say it!!! Have a god dam point!!!! Have an opinion that means something. F*#k!!!!
I'm so tired of asking someone why they think 'Dubya' is .... (insert stereo typical negative GB comment here). And they don't have much to say. 'Cause isn't a god dam answer. 'Cause WAR is bad, isn't a god dam answer. 'Cause he is a WAR monger isn't a god dam answer either!!! Do us all a favor, if your gonna have an opinion, get some facts to back it up, not your "FEELINGS" or "I THINK". Read the paper, read the web, watch the news. But for shit sake, don't say, well, um, 'Cause, and I can't watch any reports it upsets me!!! Did our grandparents say that in WWII? No F''nnn WAYYY.
Now, what I would really appreciate is if someone had an opinion, that was intelligent, NOT retoric, NOT bullshit, and certainly NOT 'Cause everyone else says the WAR sucks. I've done my homework and then some. Please
Issue #2. - Quit blaming the US Government and George. I've talked to a number of people who all say the UN this and the UN that. F*#k the UN. They FAILED. FAILED, FAILED. Don't get me wrong, they shouldn't have, but they aren't the mature World Government we all want them to be. The UN is currently still a bunch of selfish, self serving diplomats eating expensive finger sandwiches in one of the wealthest nations on earth, removed and well protected from every day events. What the hell do they care what happens back home. Most of them don't live in the conditions of their citizens and are so far removed from daily life in their countries it is not even funny!!!
Why is it up to the US, and other free countries to enforce the UN's rules? What the hell do they exist for then? If they can't back it up, then they are irrelevant. Europe didn't show resolve or a back bone when Hitler walked all over them. And they are doing it again. Why can't we learn from history? Like we should? Humm? If SH can get away with it today, then who will push tomorrow? Oh, and by the way I'm tired of hearing about the WAR would be illegal. Crap off with that pile of trash, please. Has that stopped any country in history? Britian? France? Germany? Russia? US? Japan? Korea? Vietnam? Any country in Africa? Please....
Issue #3. - If I make a valid argument, don't agree with me and then say what they are doing is wrong. If you disagree about something, then disagree!!! For christ sakes!!! If however something makes you take pause, perhaps you should reconsider your opinion. It is so dam funny when people talk and have an issue, they have a need to stick to it once they claim it, NO MATTER WHAT. For the love of god, that's what happened at the UN!!!! Don't do it!!! Think, reconsider, and then, check the points. Perhaps your opinion can change!! Don't agree with my arguments and then say, well I still don't agree. How can you take a point, agree, and then say, well, I agree, but I don't? What the bloody hell? Are you half pregnant?
Issue #4. - If your for peace, GOOD ON YOU!!! But for F*#k Sakes, don't drag your 6 year old along with you to express your F*#king opinion you selfish dumb ass!!!! Like those human shields that went to Iraq, and then SH asked them to "Please Stand Here". Oh and guess where they ended up. Sheilds in front of bunkers for the army holding chemicals and gas. Your all dumb asses!!!! If you wanna die, kill yourself, but your kid isn't old enough to understand shit, so leave them out of it!!!!! And don't give me that F*#n excuse about children dying, cause your only scaring your kids you friggin dictator!!!!! Let them grow old, educate them, and let them decide for themselves.
Issue #5. - Peace rallies!!!! Please, I've been reading, and I'm not sure the reports are all true, but I've heard many of these rallies have been organized by radical groups of one form or another. So, teenagers, who ain't got much brains yet, go to these rallies without knowing all their facts either. They just get caught up in all the hype. Please... It's like asking students in Quebec why they want to separate. "Ah cause, ah, we have a distinct culture." What the F*#k is that? No shit you already have one!!!! You need your own country for that? Dumb ass. Please get a better argument for me. Do your god dam homework on the issue!!!! Don't take the pop culture answer.
Issue #6. - All America wants is the oil!!! WHAT???? WHAT????? If I hear this anymore, I think I'm gonna run out and by a barrel of crude at today's prices and pour it over that dumb asses head!!!! You clearly haven't done your homework you friggin dunce!!!!
Rebutal A - Iraq only produces about 10% of the world's oil.
Rebutal B - Russia could be the world's largest oil producer. The US could partner with them and they could become more wealth than all of the OPEC countries.
Rebutal C - Why not just go down to Venezuela and kick out the government that is already going under, way under? It is a lot closer to home and they would have saved big time on troop and equipment movement costs.
Rebutal D - Why not just open up their own oil fields? Cause they are scared of the environmental lobby? Please....
Rebutal E - Get a new dam argument!! This ain't the friggin reason!!!
Well, that is Part A of my rant. Perhaps I will have more sometime this week. Please, let me know what you think. I'm really interested, IF it is worth while!!

Security Systems Review
Well, today is the day I need to get some hard core research done into home security systems. The new house we are moving into needs an upgrade and I have started looking at the new home automation systems. Welcome back everyone. Well, the template changes have been made. Some are minor, some have been absolutely major and a pain in the ass.
Changes Include:
1. Top Menu Bar
2. Template edges are all clean and complete now

3. Template has been heavily structured and comments
- it's all under the covers, but great for those in need of learning absolute positioning

- and a safety net to ensure no more double blogger banners - EVER!!!

Prairie Windchill Causes Devastating Chapped Lips
After spending far to many morning walking only two blocks to the office, face directly into the wind, The Animal has suffered a serious case of devastating chapped lips. In fact, in combination with my current penicillian for my Bronchitis, I have officially before more dehydrated than a desert.

Boreanaz Bites Into Superman?
British publications are reporting an unlikely rumor that Angel star David Boreanaz has signed a three-picture deal to star in three Superman films for Warner Brothers and director Brett Ratner, according to a report on the IGN FilmForce Web site. The rumor appeared in the British Hello! magazine and in the Daily Express tabloid newspaper.
IGN's calls to Boreanaz's agent and manager for confirmation of the story weren't returned by press time.
Last week, Josh Hartnett dropped out of the running for the role, leaving a rumored list of contenders that included Brendan Fraser, Timeline's Paul Walker and newcomer Matthew Bomer (TV's Guiding Light).

Road Warrior updates Blog while out of town!
Another road trip see me out of town for yet another week!! I'm back in my second home town for the week of March 3.
I'm also glad to be making this post while on the road. The tools provided by Blogger are one of my favorite reasons for using their service.
On another note, I'm VERY GLAD to report that the "Retard Burger King" flash has FINALLY hit the archives!! You think it was annoying, just try updating your blog with that stupid thing playing on every single reload!! Oh man!!!
